When planning social activities at Flushing House, our goal is to challenge and soothe our residents' minds, bodies, as well as their collective and individual spirits.

An interfaith chapel is centrally located on premises, and three full services are shared weekly. Our entertainment room has a 62" television with Dolby sound, and classic movies are previewed daily. A library and sitting room are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Flushing House's game room is home to numerous planned and spontaneous playing card and bingo matches weekly, and is also utilized by the residents for their monthly council meeting.
 
A sample of some additional activities from our monthly calendar is: choral group, exercise classes, poetry groups, arts & crafts, holiday events, visiting entertainers, music appreciation group, sporting events, stress reduction classes, birthday parties…and more.
